• Students may need to do the following three courses in the First Year of study:
  
  
  1.   Research Data Methodology
  2.   Qualitative Data Analysis
  3.   Quantitative Data Analysis
  
  These courses run regularly over the year and can be studied online, or on-campus and there is no assessment.


• Stages of research:
• Stage 1 – Proposal Defense
• Stage 2 – Research and Data Collecting
• Stage 3 – Data Analyses and Report Writing
• Stage 4 - Thesis Examination

• Designated Adviser and Supervisor to guide and comment on the students’ research


• The students’ research progress is monitored by the Adviser and Supervisor through progress reports every 6 months


• Provisions of frequent online colloquia, seminars, research clinics, and coursework to augment students’ knowledge and research skills

• Application fee:
  HK$ 200 payable upon application (non-refundable)


• Registration fee:
  HK$ 1,000 payable upon registration (non-refundable)


• Oral Defense Exam fee:
  HK$ 8,000 payable one month before Oral Defense (non-refundable)


• Candidature fee:
  Yearly candidature fee of US$ 1,000 will be imposed on year 5 and onwards
